The Eulogy
Hypnotic Scenery is a Czech death/doom metal band from Havířov, formed in 1991. Initially rooted in grindcore, they quickly transitioned to a blend of death/doom, thrash, and heavy metal, often incorporating atmospheric keyboards and Latin recitations. Their most notable works include the demos Detur (1993) and Crystal Curtain (1994), and their debut full-length album, Vacuum (1995), which is considered a classic of the Czech metal scene. They followed up with Deeper and Deeper (1997) and their final album, Back in the Bloody Ruins (2002). The band officially disbanded in 2004.
